How often do presidents actually implement their pre-election healthcare plan?

Posted on September 6th, 2010 by admin in healthcare | 2 Comments »

There is all of this hype about the US healthcare situation – as there should be, but there has been healthcare hype during every election I have been old enough to understand. Similarly, I have never felt a difference in US healthcare between different administration’s healthcare plans. Maybe it is because I have been employed with healthcare as a benefit and I never use it really.

Bill Clinton made big promises about health care during his campaign. After he was elected, he turned that over to his wife, who produced a volumes of paperwork without consulting anyone in the medical field. That plan fell flat immediately. And that was the last we heard of Bill’s health plan for the remainder of his term.

Know the TRUTH about the Government Health Care Bill H.R.3200 – Key Points

Posted on September 1st, 2010 by admin in healthcare | 25 Comments »

Update: Yes the healthcare bill HR3962 passed. Now it’s up to us to do all we can to repeal it!! This video is based on HR3200 but it is very closely related to HR3962 with the exception that HR3962 is deemed to be worse yet. If we don’t get this bill thrown in the trash where it belongs we can expect to see much if not all of what this video shows us. THE PDF.OF THE BILL HR3200 NOTED AT THE END OF THE VIDEO IS NO LONGER VALID. HERE IS THE UPDATED LINK TO THE PDF. http://candicemiller.house.gov/pdf/hr3200.pdf
I am well aware of the typeo in this video, I apologize but It’s too late to fix it now.

Healthcare is only a powerful stepping stone to their government takeover plan. Open your eyes America, they don’t care what “we the people” want or need, they simply want control.

Original Bill (Video) :This is a point by point description (A guide not the actual reading of the bill!) of the Government Healthcare plan taken from the ACTUAL proposed bill H.R.3200http://candicemiller.house.gov/pdf/hr3200.pdf
Though not opposed to healthcare reform most Americans do not want this KIND of reform which is a dangerous UN-AMERICAN UNCONSTITUTIONAL We want reform that makes sense and that is helpful for all not a destructive death warrant for the unborn and the elderly. We want government to stay out of our personal life decisions period. This is America !!

How can Republicans advocate for their healthcare needs if they believe falsely that the government runs it?

Posted on September 1st, 2010 by admin in healthcare | 17 Comments »

It’s critical that they understand that they will need to continue to advocate to the insurance companies for their healthcare and that of loved ones since it will be run by insurance companies, not the government. False information can be costly when it comes to health issues. Many are under this false impression about the government running it?

Because they still have enough information on other aspects to make decisions.

Good question by the way.

It surprises me that so many Americans seem not to be aware about Obama’s healthcare plans [a]. During the election, he campaigned for these changes stating that he felt it was unfair to have a system where insurance companies try to escape paying claims and was elected to bring in changes [b].
First of all, too many people do not know that Obama wants to make insurance more available to all. His system is similar to that which works in Holland, Taiwan [c] and Switzerland. It works there and private healthcare companies provide most the insurance to the people there.
FACT – the USA spends more on healthcare PER PERSON than any other nation on the planet [d].
FACT – insurance companies admit that they push up costs, buy politicians and do not pay out for many claims when they should [e].
FACT – the US has higher death rates for kids aged under five than western European countries with universal health coverage [f].

That means that a dead American four year old would have had a better chance of life if they were born in Canada, France, the Netherlands, Cuba, Switzerland, Germany, Japan etc, all of which have universal health coverage. And no western European nation with universal healthcare has moved away from it. And the sad thing is, that the insurance companies have spent loads of money to fight these reforms [g] and loads of politicians are taking the thirty pieces of silver from them to fight the reforms, rather than fight for the health of the American people.

Remember, I back my facts up with evidence. Those who say they are wrong tend not to. If they are wrong, e-mail me with proof and let me know.

How is it possible for socialized healthcare to work?

Posted on August 29th, 2010 by admin in healthcare | 24 Comments »

Seriously, look at all of the other countries that have it, Canada for one. They come to the U.S. for operations and other medical procedures! Sorry, but that just tells me that attempting to socialize healthcare can do nothing fail here. Can anyone explain this thought away?

Actually, you will find that it is only a very small number that travel to the USA for healthcare. The facts prove that socialised healthcare works. Mind you, if the reforms pass, the USA will not get socialised healthcare.

Why does no other developed nation have the US model of healthcare? Because in the US model, insurance companies use death panels to deny care to those they are meant to cover. And then they raise costs [1]. Not only does the USA spend more on healthcare than any other nation [2], it finds itself bottom of the table when it comes to preventable deaths due to treatable conditions when it comes to developed nations [3]. The sad thing is that rather than focus on these things, the right spreads lies and half truths about the reforms and how healthcare works abroad [4]. But, if you think that my points are wrong, e-mail me with proof.

Is it safe to quit a healthcare job and expect to be hired somewhere else during this economic crisis?

Posted on August 27th, 2010 by admin in healthcare | 4 Comments »

Such healthcare jobs like nurses, techs, aids, clerks, billing, coding. I am disliking my job and the people I work with and want to look for a better job but I don’t know if its a good time to quit and try to find another job with this economy. How will I know if I can get another job once I quit? Some advise please.

It is never safe to quit a job with out having another job, in any economy. Many hospitals are downsizing and are cutting out positions due to reimbursement issues.
There are parts of the country that have shortages and some that are not experiencing any shortages or minimal shortages of workers. Put up with this unpleasant situation until you get another job.
You can tolerate anything for a period of time. And will be a motivator to get another job. healthcare is a tough field. There are many unhappy people in healthcare due to the pressures of having to do more with less. I have found that people in health care would rather complain and be miserable, than to change their situation.

Kudos to you for want to improve your situation and put the negative environment behind you. Just be smart and take time to look and find a better situation.

I am looking for a healthcare staffing agency, and there are lots out there. I was interested in the free housing, travel assignments, benefits and flexibility.

There are so many different companies out there.
How do I know which one is best, or are all of them pretty much the same?

Pretty much the same, unfortunately
