What are some good healthy foods that actually taste good?
I would like to start eating more healthily and in order to do so I must start eating more vegitables and healthy foods. However, I don’t like them at all. Can any one suggest some good healthy foods that you think taste good?
try combining them … apple slices with a little cheese , baby carrots and a little low fat ranch dressing , cucumber slices with tomatoes and a bit of italian dressing (add a bit of purple onion if you like). it’s really best with a little olive oil and vinegar and a touch of garlic salt and parsley but bottled italian dressing is fine too. easy of the cheese, dresssings it’s just to add a little flavor to it. add spinach, mushrooms, green or red pepper to your omellette . add a bit of shredded carrot to your meatloaf , or throw some in your speghetti sauce. experiment with some of the oriental vegetables / stir fry them / bok choy and the cabbages / baby pea pods are excellent. chinese brocolli is good. for sweets think fruits . any fruit is great with a little cottage cheese or vanilla yogurt. mandarin oranges, peaches, pineapple, mango, nectarines. popcorn is a good healthy snack.

How can I eat healthy without eating pieces of fruit and vegetable?
I have a little problem. Well, actually a pretty big one. To be healthy you should eat 3-6 pieces of fruit and vegetables. But I just can’t eat it that way without nearly vomiting. I do however like soup and orange juice and everything which contains no pieces. Problem is, I only eat soup once or twice a week and orange juice can’t replace my daily need.
What can I do to eat more healthy? Does frozen soup contain all the vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that fresh soup does? That might be a solution.
How about eating/drinking things like orange juice and soup and working your way up to fruits and veggies. You’re probably just not used to eating them!

What are some healthy diet suppliments to boost my weight loss?
Do you know any healthy diet suppliments that are also cheap? I’m an overweight teen and I’m 5′9, big boned and about 50 lbs overweight. I exercise and eat very healthy but I haven’t lost as much as I believe I can. Plus my family is short on money.
The MOST important thing is to eat naturally..without medicines, chemicals, "starving" your self etc.
first, it would be best for you to eat as healthy as possible..this will also help you considerably to lose weight gradually and naturally..
eat fresh fruits, vegetables, drink plenty of WATER..avoid all cokes, caffeines, smoking, alchohol etc. as these also add weight as well as they contain chemicals which disturb your natural bio rythmns as well as brain chemistry. try not to eat too much meat, and the meat you should eat should be "lean meat" such as steamed chicken and rice, or steamed fish with rice..and vegetables,, this should be your staple diet rice and vegetables with fruits..AVOID "JUNK FOOD" and "Fast Food" as this type of food is very unhealthy, lacking in vitamins really and has plenty of fattening molecules which make one gain weight and is not good .
if you snack,, try fruits with yogurt or fruit yogurt and nuts.. nuts are very healthy for your body .and contain proteins.
go for walks every evening or morning or whenever you get time each day for 1 hour or 2 hours..make this somewhere you enjoy walking even if you have to drive a bit to there..and make this a daily routine..you will enjoy it once you get into it ..and it makes you feel great after..just walking for 1 hour or 2 hours.
if you do this..every day for one month ..you should lose around 10 pounds (.714 stone) per month until you get to your natural healthy weight.. look up on the internet for an idea of what your weight for your height should be ..and when you get to this weight,,your body will look very nice and you will feel very good.
10 pounds (.714 stone ) each month in 3 months you should lose 30 pounds (2 stones, 2 pounds)..for sure…but no junk food and dont drink alcohol or smoke, dont eat junk..just healthy food with vitamins and walking 1 hour or 2 hours every day..and drink plenty of water..this is guaranteed way to lose weight naturally and for good, if you stick to this, which you should,,as it makes you feel so much more positive due to the vitamins and lack of chemicals making you feel depressed…
btw, forgot to mention,,just in case you dont know how to really make healthy meals..buy a "food steamer" at your local deparment store..they are very cheap and work very well..as well as buy a "rice cooker" which is also very cheap..eating rice is a great way to get your necessary carbs "healthy carbs" to lose weight and has lots of natural energy inside. you can buy asian rice at most large supermarkets or if you have a local oriental market..they sale quality asian rice.. thai or indian rice is good "jasmine rice".. buy corn or canola oil to sprinkle on vegetables or rice before steaming to add to taste as well as you can buy several nice spices like "cumin" or "Curry powders", etc.just sprinkle on the vegetables before steaming to give nice taste.
drink "Green Tea" as this is very healthy and helps burn extra fat faster…you can buy quality green tea at most oriental shops or large supermarkets as well
What is a healthy lifestyle for a 30 year old male adult?
What foods should he be eating to be healthy?
What can he do to become fit?
Please also give me some tips on what a healthy lifestyle would be.
ummmm… these don’t seem like really hard questions
foods= fruits, vegetables, meat (not too much), whole grains
male adults should avoid eating too much sugar because sugar begets wrinkles
fit?= get exercise, stop watching the TV and sitting on the damn sofa
i recommend not eating late too
pretty much common sense
here’s my question about my apparent lack of a refractory period…

Good health is just a matter of taking a new approach to eating and making simple changes.
To complete this How-To you will need:
Cooking facilities
A shopping list
Healthy foods
Breakfast
Healthy snacks
Water
Books (optional)
Internet access (optional)
Step 1: Cook your own meals
Cook and prepare your own meals as often as you can. This will help you avoid eating processed and fast foods, which are higher in sodium and fat.
Tip: Healthy, low-fat recipes and guidance are available in bookstores and on the internet.
Step 2: Make a shopping list
Plan healthy meals and make a shopping list. Fill your cart with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, whole-grain foods, and lean meats.
Step 3: Read nutrition labels
Read nutrition labels. Pay attention to saturated fat, sodium, and sugar. The higher their numbers, the unhealthier they are.
Step 4: Eat breakfast
Eat breakfast every day. Breakfast helps to rev up your metabolism. Make it a habit to eat something within the first hour after you wake up.
Step 5: Eat every three to four hours
Try to eat small meals every three to four hours. Aim for three small, balanced meals and two snacks.
Step 6: Drink plenty of water
Drink plenty of water every day. Water hydrates the body and aids the digestive system. And it’s calorie-free!
Step 7: Feel the difference
Feel the difference in your body — more energy and stamina — as well as sharper thinking as you feed your body healthy foods.

What are some healthy alternative dinner ideas?
I’m a teenager and I’m trying to eat a whole lot healthier. I cut out drinking soda and fast food. For suppers my dad makes greasy food containing loads of meats. If anyone could give me any healthy easy meals to make that still fill my pyramid chart, that would be great! Thank you!
- salads (with low-fat or fat free dressing- or even no dressing)
- a portion or two of healthy meat with plenty of vegetables
- fruit for dessert instead of dessert dishes
Is eating two healthy meals a day enough to keep me in relatively good health?
I want to be healthy but it’s hard for me because I don’t want to miss out on my favorite junk foods… so I was thinking maybe I could just have a healthy breakfast and lunch and then I can still enjoy the foods I love for dinner… is this enough to keep me in relatively good health? I don’t need to be perfect health or anything, I love food so it’s worth it to me to get a little sick every now.
small frequent meals is better.. keeps your metabolism going and helps you be more active.
