Does a natural born American citizen living abroad, have to return to the US to not lose American citizenship?

You don’t ever have to come back. You’ll never lose your citizenship.

I want to act as a living, but I fear my passion for acting is larger than my natural talent?

Posted on September 3rd, 2010 by admin in natural living | 1 Comment »

I have little experience, but I love this and I don’t see myself doing anything else and enjoying it.

I don’t have enough money for lessons.
What should I do?
Should I let my destiny take me and see if it wants me to act?
Or what?

Don’t worry, very few actors act for a living. The majority of actors in the Screen Actors Guild earn well below the U.S. poverty line in acting earnings alone. This is why most have day jobs or survival jobs that allow them the freedom to get to auditions or do the acting jobs if they book them.

If you do not have enough money for classes the first thing you should do is get a job, save up and start your classes. There is so much to the business of acting you shouldn’t let your fears get in the way of pursuing the business if it is what you really want to do. Talent alone is not enough to secure success. Go to Amazon and look up books on how to be a working actor or the business of being an employable actor.

To what extent are humans living in a technological society exempt from natural selection? Justify your answe?

Justify your answer.

You should really do your own homework, or test, or whatever. That said, think about the ways that modern medicine keeps people alive to reach breeding age when they might otherwise die and you’ll be off to a good start.

How good is your living place resistant to natural disasters like Earth quake, Storm, Hurricane, Flood…?

Is it too late for me to reap benefits of vegetarianism or a more natural life-style?

Posted on August 27th, 2010 by admin in natural living | 8 Comments »

Can older people really reverse disorders (like blocked arteries and heart disease) from a vegetarian or natural living style? I’ve read it works with diabetes, but what about heart disease? Is it once those arteries are clogged and hardened up with plaques and cholesterol that it cannot be undone or do I have a chance to undo all those years of damage?

There was a book by Dr. Dean Ornish in the 90’s about reversing heart disease through diet and lifestyle changes that said yes indeed it is possible to even reverse heart disease. I think later he came out with another couple books too. I don’t know if the book was entirely vegetarian. I seem to recall that it included fish or fish oil, but you could research more about his work online. His plan did significantly remove animal products from the diet. There are also omega 3 fatty acid alternatives to fish oil available in the marketplace now– made from algae sources..

How are humans living in a technological society exempt from natural selection?

These things have no effect on evolution, defined as natural selection. There is no such thing as artificial selection for humans, this is because we are living in nature so if you are talking about EVOLUTION or NATURAL SELECTION then technology has no bearing on these. Evolution is an adaptation to the environment which causes an organism to outcompete it other organisms and therefore pass on its genes. Technology doesn’t effect our ability to pass on our genes, but it does allow for the weak to survive. There is many psychologies as to who is perceived as "strong" and if you watch the psychology of sex it becomes apparent as to the evolutionary mechanisms that are burned into our brain. Just food for thought.

With all this emphasis on healthy living and lifestyles, why are their all-natural beauty contests?

Posted on August 19th, 2010 by admin in natural living | 1 Comment »

I have never heard of one but wouldn’t it be interesting to have a beauty contest where no cosmetics, hair extensions or dyed or permed hair, sprayed on tans, or plastic surgery were allowed in the contestants? Wonder how many would actually try out for such a contest?

I agree, that would be interesting. Natural beauty is an important thing and it’s what we’re all made to enjoy, anyway.

How does the abundance or lack of natural resources effect a countries Standard of Living?

Posted on August 16th, 2010 by admin in natural living | 1 Comment »

An abundance of natural resources usually goes along with a high standard of living (which is a measure of income per person and poverty rate). This is because the country can produce many products that they can export and make money off of. On the other hand, a lack of natural resources usually means a lower standard of living. A few countries that are exceptions, but this is the general rule.

Just think of it this way: stuff (resources) allows you to make stuff (products), which you can sell and make money off of, which gives you an income, which keeps you from being too poor. That’s the simple way to look at it.

It sounds like you need some color. I suggest a blue-green, like "Mediteranea" by sherwin williams.
