What supplements can you use to aid you in losing body fat?

Posted on September 6th, 2010 by admin in supplements | 1 Comment »

I am currently dieting and exercising. I do a combination of 20-30 mins of cardio and 15-20 of yoga and strength training about 2-3 times a week. I noticed that I am losing weight but not much body fat. Is there any supplements that can aid me in losing more body fat?

PS. anything supplements without caffeine is a plus because caffeine gets me sick.

All I ever hear is that Supplements don’t work. Really, where do you see them advertised? Places and publications that make their money telling you to buy junk.

From your "Avatar", I guess that you’re a woman. Women tend to keep a proportion of body fat unless they get heavily into weight lifting, which raises testosterone that in turn burns up more fat.

In my opinion, it’s more than taking supplements so you can live longer, what’s more concerned these days are about living healthier for longer, otherwise we can result in living healthy too short and dieing for too long. You can afford insurance for your car then why not for your health (Can you put a price on health? I personally cannot). Either you pay for health upfront and protected or definitely one day when you’re disabled in the hospital bed and that wouldn’t be fun not to mention it would costs more money. For anyone who truly cannot afford it, with the teams help – you also have the opportunity to build up your business assets to provide ongoing income flow by sharing the message to help others

Wouldn’t you rather prevent various health issues now instead of yourself or later your kids having to deal with that. Why not provide family a healthy life style.
(Ok, end of essay)
PS. there’s actually more if you still have energy to read on.. :)

Posted on September 3rd, 2010 by admin in supplements | 4 Comments »

I have been taking Omega 3 and Calcium supplements everyday. I was wondering what others could provide me to feel healthier naturally and maybe help me in my daily performances.

I also take Omega 3 . You may need to take iron but that depends on your diet i.e if your a vegatarian.. Most other Vits are already present in a stable diet but some people top up with vits A ,C and D ..

Bodybuilding Supplements Guide

Are you confused and unsure what to take when it comes to muscle building and fat loss supplements? If so, then welcome to the club because I’m confused about supplements as well. In fact I think if anyone tells you that they AREN’T confused about supplements, either they couldn’t care less about them, or they are lying and won’t let their egos admit that they are confused.

I mean every month there are new products hitting the market, some new weird and wonderful anabolic concoction that’s promised to be the long lost secret to achieving the ripped muscular body of your dreams. Or some new loss super duper fat loss diet loss pill that will melt the fat off you quicker then a stick of butter in a red hot frying pan.

And these supplements can be tempting. Especially when you read the glossy full page magazine ads with all the scientific jargon, and the picture of some jacked up muscle dude claiming that he built his body as a direct result of taking “Supplement X”. Then to top it off they’ll stick a picture in the background of a guy dressed as a doctor with a stethoscope around his neck and a clipboard in his hand to make the whole thing seem “official”.

I mean with all that stuff being heavily promoted in an internationally published bodybuilding magazine, how can one not help but to be a little intrigued about this magic muscle building breakthrough miracle that they are selling.

Now before you think that I’m just going to go on a big “Anti-Supplement” rant, I’m NOT. I actually do use and whole heartedly believe there are huge benefits to taking certain supplements. But what I don’t like is the deceptive tactics and BS that most supplement companies use when promoting their products.

My goal with this video is to help you become a more educated consumer so that you don’t fall prey to the lies and misconceptions that greedy supplement marketers use to trick you out of your hard earned money. I also want to help you make intelligent supplement choices that will move you closer to achieving the lean muscular physique you desire. Rather then just getting a lean wallet, which is all most people end up with when buying supplements.

What Supplements Do You Not Get From Fruit And Other Healthy Foods?

Posted on September 1st, 2010 by admin in supplements | 1 Comment »

Might sound strange but are there supplements we should be taking in form of tablets, capsules or liquid form that we do not get from food? Or maybe it can be found in food but these foods are only found at the other side of the world?

Saw something called Ginkgo Biloba and another supplements called q10 enzyme and to be honest they both do not sound as if they can be found in foods?

So am guessing we should be buying these and taking them?

supplements are just that, supplemental. they add to your nutrition. Co-enzyme Q10 is something your body makes, it’s just that as you age, less is produced, so when you are in your fourties, Q10 is something to consider taking.
Gingko Biloba, has antioxidants, they clean your blood, they do not add to nutrition. If you eat a balanced diet and avoid processed food, you get all the nutrition you need. Just remember that as you age, there are supplements that can improve your health and well being, because your body begins to fail at making adequate amounts.
Things you can research, start with Dr Louis Ignarro and his book NO More Heart Disease. Look into DHEA supplements, and also Co-Enzyme Q 10, these are all supplements that help in the aging process, not necessarily nutritional process.

What are the best supplements to take to build muscle?

Posted on August 27th, 2010 by admin in supplements | 5 Comments »

I am starting a gym soon, I weigh 230lbs 6′4". I do have some fat but just toning up willl get rid of it but im looking for really good turn out and soon. I am a freshmen in college so I cant spend alot on supplements but give me suggestions anyways. Thanks!

Well it really depends on your diet, sleep and also of course workout regimen.

I would recommend you to do the workout regimen which I am doing:

I eat around 3500-4000 calories

I always train only two muscle groups which go together. Here is my regimen
Monday – Biceps and Back,

Wednesday – Triceps, Shoulders and Chest

Friday – Legs and Abs

Remember it is also important that you take Portein(around 1g per pound) supplement which works as food for your body together with supplement which increase Nitric Oxide and HGH levels in your body.

You can check my bodybuilding journey in my website. I will provide link to it in the "source" field.

Best wishes and Take care!

What are the efects of taking bodybuilding supplements if you are under age?

Posted on August 23rd, 2010 by admin in supplements | 3 Comments »

I’m talking about creatine, weight gainer etc. Why the age limit? All supplements say for age 16 and over. And what is the best supplement for getting big muscles fast?
And how fast will they work and how much bigger should they get? Interesting one this is!

There are lots of reasons
1. you are still growing
2. everything you put through your body get filtered through your kidneys and liver, creatine can be very dangerous to your body if you don’t properly hydrate yourself and I think these side effects can be magnified if you drink alcohol while on creatine as well
3. weight gainiers are waste of money in my opinion, I am 6′5 and when I was in high school I weighted only 150 pounds, I lifted, ate 4 or 5 meals a day and took all of the weightgainers I could, you body can only process so much protien and most of it just ends of coming right on out of you
4. odds are you won’t be able to legally and truly bulk up very fast if you are still 16
5. I now take muscle milk, it is NOT a weight gainer it is a supplement that is to help you gain lean muscle but I find it is the most effective supplement I have taken and really helps with recovery after workouts
6. Now that I am 30 and weight a solid 225 it just takes time for your body to stop growing and get the chance to put weight on ( I really didn’t put on the muscle or the weight I wanted until I was 23)
Best of luck but be careful what you are spending your money on and if you are going to take creatine be very careful to hydrate and follow all directions, and in my opinion skip the heavy calorie weight gainers you will literally be flushing your money down the toilet

What are some supplements i can take for toning and building muscle?

Posted on August 19th, 2010 by admin in supplements | 1 Comment »

I am a 20 year old male. I am just shy of 6 foot and weigh 164. I am looking for some suggestions on any vitamins or supplements I can take to build and tone muscle.

Most important is protein
Get 1-2 grams per one pound of body weight
Take a multi-vitamin
Drink at least 120 oz of water a day
Glutamine is great to help your muscles recover faster (take before bed and right when you wake up)
ZMA before bedtime will increase testosterone
Creatine is great and will help you lift more
17-HD will give you insane energy

Good luck to you
