President Obama has won the healthcare argument in Congress but the nationwide debate still rages. RT talks now to one of the opponents, Congressman Ron Paul. He say the plans provide a right that should not be offered by government.
Government does not … Government does not control anything, it is each individuals mindset that controls an individuals choices. If one states that government does control something, tell them to control your health , or sleep or visit to the doctor. I thought Ron was smarter than what he is displaying in this video, but he is just part of big brother. Politics is self interest and ignorance.
Health care and other instruments are just too large for private entities.
Dumbing down America. Keep it up R you’ll loose.
@3108711289 that is … @3108711289 that is EXACTLY THE POINT OF THE CONSTITUTION THAT THE TEA PARTY SUPPORTS!!! look, you obviously have a serious mindset of the left-right ideas that clouds your understanding of libertarianism. go and look up and UNDERSTAND ron and rand paul, the tea party, austrian economics and libertarianism. then talk to me.
@3108711289 YES … @3108711289 YES THEY DO! GOD! I’M SICK OF IDIOTS THAT WON’T EVEN LOOK UP WHAT RON PAUL AND THE TEA PARTY IS ABOUT BEFORE MAKING GENERALISED RIGHT WING ASSUMPTIONS!!
@samm1809
thats … @samm1809
thats why i believe in programs that help the poor because they suffer the most from this undemocratic system. what im saying is that big business are the real lawmakers therefore they will NEVER allow a system where they lose power, even if it means martial law. lobbying, lobbying lobbying. thats the giant elephant in the room. if that i resolved evrything else follows.
@samm1809
funny … @samm1809
funny that both sides want the same things.i think what you want will never work as long as lobbying is allowed.it breaks the entire system.what i dont understand about the tea party is that they are against healthcare etc but say nothing against things like the patriot act,offensive imperialistic wars,bailing out the banks and separation of religion and state.total free marketswould absolutely work without lobbying but the politicians have to serve big business to finance campaigns.
@3108711289 … @3108711289 vouluntary like you can’t walk into a hospital and say you want to voulunteer in a few operations or a school and say i’ll help jimmy with his maths, but you can walk into a firestation and say you would like to volunteer, which is a characteristic of the people being happy with the way things are working. 73% of US firefighters are volunteers. it’s similar to the army reserves.
@3108711289 what … @3108711289 what you have to undertand about the tea party movement is that it is not just simply another brand of sheep. the government continually breaks the rules that cause special interests to be served that can only be achieved by taking freedom away from others- eg. trade unions (socialism) and big business(fascism). the government is designed to be a servant of the people, not a master, but it continues to defy the constitution by legislating illegally in favour of special interests.
@3108711289 THAT’S … @3108711289 THAT’S THE POINT!!! the government has been overrun by beuraucrats that keep passing laws because that’s the only way they see of making change, over and over again until we will all be serfs of the state. whether obama or mccain was elected, they would follow the same idea. ron paul would end the fed end the irs end laws against victimless crimes give the power back to the people but through freedom, not control. i agree it is quasi-fascist, but government is to blame.
@samm1809
so … @samm1809
so taking that into account the people must be protected. true free market will NEVER work under this current system. HC and Fin reform were a joke (even though u are prob teaparty and have been told otherwise), jst look at those industries stocks after the bills were passed. and btw people get paid in the police and fire dept by the govt just like nurses would get paid by the govt in public healthcare; what do you mean voluntary? like theyre not forced to work there?
@samm1809
lets … @samm1809
lets see if im talking to an idiot. your theory of laissez faire would work if USA was a true democracy. it is a quasi fascist state. lobbying and campaign finance have broken the govt and polticians are simply corporate brokers. look at the results…big business cannot fail, military industrial complex, federal reserve, patriot act i could go on forever. so taking this system in mind the people must be protected. all laws passed coincidentally always benefit the lobbyists.
@3108711289 oh, for … @3108711289 oh, for god’s sake. first of all, the police fire departments are largely vouluntary (in the case of fire) and more to the point both consitutional. the only purpose of the government should be to protect the people from eachother and foreign attack. LEARN about libertarianism before you make assumptions.
1. the bill … 1. the bill expanded the insurance companies and FORCED many more people to buy into insurance. look at insurance co stocks after the bill passed.
2. if u follow RP argument should police and fire services also be privatized so when u have a fire ‘oops sorry u cant afford fireman insurance’ stupidity to the max, ridiculous. heallthcare is an unpredictable necessity.
3. RP used to be OK. u can c in his eyes he sold out.
Reps dont be fooled ure party is working for the business and war party.
the interviewer is … the interviewer is so cute that i would, if in ron paul’s situation, find a rapid drop in my IQ. anyway, the pain of this package was cleverly set to occur at the year 2012, an election year. check obama’s speech – “you look around, and everything’s the same,” etc. Well, after 2012 I hope obama’s out of office. this is going to devastate the economy.
@classicwiseguy … @classicwiseguy Like Trotsky and Yezhov? You mean yet another Yiddisch scam- which kills millions of ordinary Russian, Ukrain, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish Christians?
Read a book about Russian history.
He’s too … He’s too capitalistic, but he’s american so what am i supposed to expect haha but at least he’s a traditional capitalist…if only we could get more traditional communists
@Transformatics—- … @Transformatics—– Also the focus to switch to renewable engery sources like wind and solar power should be at the forefront of any administration right now, again , less money spent on war would mean more money into research and development of such technologies. imagine , the windy city loaded with wind mill power plants in that area or a solar blanket in the desert where all that sun is doing nothing but baking lizards.
Ron Paul is … Ron Paul is probably the best candidate the U.S. could elect president, but,. i disagree with the health care thing. If the U.S. didnt spend so much money on war, they would have plenty of money to take care of all their citizens, and happy healthy people would only make a stronger nation.
Ron Paul is a … Ron Paul is a congressman. It’s RAND who’s about to be a senator! We fight! AND WILL NEVER GIVE UP! Because special interests are attacking. Because we the people, the grass roots will stand together, stand strong until he’s in office! GO RAND PAUL! Of and for the people! for competition, for free markets, for transparency, for the constitution, not reckless special interests/irresponsible Washington! Paul knows need oversight, checks/balance of government, ensure freedom/liberty! GO RAND PAUL!
