    McDonald is …
McDonald is sabotaging the Beijing olympic by having the ‘athletes’ eating fried chicken in a flour muffin for breakfast. What next? A guy having a huge big mac for lunch after winning a swim relay competition? Where is the outrage and why are the ‘athletes’ eating junk food?

    The bread basket …
The bread basket thing I liked that.

The video actually made me hungry LOL

    Thanks for the tips …
Thanks for the tips! Splitting is a fun way to get a chance to try more food and not get too stuffed. One of my favorite tricks is to take some fiber before going out to eat. You won’t be quite as hungry and if you do end up eating unhealthy (likely), everything will be moving through your system that much faster.

    I’m sorry but I …
I’m sorry but I really don’t understand why you’d want a 200cal snack before going out?

Just go out and enjoy a nice meal and forget the snack. Use that extra 200cals by ordering a normal entree and not 2 starters.

If you eat sensibly use the night out as a treat an forget counting calories.

    This was a great …
This was a great video, and watching what you eat–without going overboard–isn’t stressful, nor does it ruin an exciting evening out! If anything, I’d rather be around people who respected loose boundaries and ate sensibly while still enjoying themselves, than to be at the gym the next day with the people who willfully overate…listening to them go on about how they had to burn off this, and how blah blah that.

    What happened to …
What happened to eating just for the sake of eating, and not as a chore? If you go to a restaurant, eat a good meal, just don’t over eat and don’t eat out every day. Exercise, live an active life, eat a variety of good, natural food, and you will be able to go to a restaurant without “feeling really, really anxious and stressed out”. Stop feling guilty, eating is essential and enjoyable.

    haha tell me about …
haha tell me about it! Eat up the bread people, those veggies store more butter and calories than that bread that you will eat (even the whole basket haha)…and by the way I lost 10 kg eating bread pasta and M and M’s!!! So its not about what you eat…its the QUANTETIES people! Skip the appetizers or dessert and go for the main meal that you will really enjoy….this is really bad advise sorry! Honestly read a book!

    In good restaurants …
In good restaurants things aren’t cooked in butter. I’m sure it’s just a little olive oil. White bread is bad, whole wheat is a lot better. The steak is fat and gross though. I’m vegetarian :) If you watched the video before, she isn’t drinking beer. They are drinking drinks without sugar and stuff.

Great advice. Not always practical, but something to try with friends that are of the same mindset. Bethany looks like she needs to relax and loosen up a bit, though. But that will come with time and experience.

    eat the bread and …
eat the bread and enjoy it. the salad dressing has more fat than anything else you ate. the “green” asparagus is cooked in gobs of butter, that steak is full of fat, each beer is loaded with carbs and you tell us to avoid the bread?! i mean please read a book or something, learn a little more about what you are talking about.
