    Also it should be pointed out that what is good for one person isn’t necessarily good for another (I for example am allergic to eggs). And although I’m not vegan, they do have a point when they say that milk should contain a label saying ‘contains puss and hormones’. Just watch the documentary ‘The Corporation’.

    What about spirulina? It is THE healthiest food you can get and is not even mentioned! The only complete protein that is known (over 70%) containing ALL essential amino acids, vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, B9, C, D and E and many minerals (potassium, calcium, chromium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, selenium, sodium and zinc).

  23. therunningpianist42 Says:

    @dietodaydotcodotuk …
    @dietodaydotcodotuk: Most (healthy) people can still easily produce lactase later in life, just not as much. Also, pasteurization destroys lactase in animal milk, therefore impairing digestion of that milk. If the lactase is there, plus the enzymes and microbes, it’s actually very easily digested by people who don’t have allergies to it.

  24. therunningpianist42 Says:

    @dietodaydotcodotuk …
    @dietodaydotcodotuk: But today’s “natural waters” are extremely polluted. So therefore, they go through reverse osmosis or whatever other means of filtration, which removes all the minerals. It would be wise to add these minerals back in after, so that it more closely resembles the micro-nutrient profile of “natural water.”
